Our crews in Aramac are certainly well versed in looking after themselves in the heat but this week will be testing for all with forecasts predicting temperatures consistently above 40 degrees, even Elliot the Emu is seeking shade! Elliot’s advice for hot conditions:
⛱avoid direct exposure to the sun by seeking shade as much as possible and wearing protective clothing and a hat
????stay hydrated – avoid alcohol, hot and sugary drinks
????look after and check on our younger and older ages of the population, expecting mothers and people with medical conditions
????have cool showers or baths
⏰plan your day so you can avoid being outside between 11am and 3pm Have a great week Queenslanders and stay cool ????
