Abduction and stealing with violence, Miami
Police are appealing for public assistance following an overnight assault of a man in a Miami hotel.
Around 11.30pm (November 28) a group of men attended the Gold Coast Highway accommodation and assaulted a 38-year-old Mudgeeraba man.
They stole his wallet and then forced him into a black BMW, driving between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, stealing money from his bank accounts, before forcing him out of the car in Haig Road, Auchenflower at around 12.30am today.
The man alerted a local resident who contacted police.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
