Noosa takes bookings for ‘$100,000-a-week’ property as border set to open
It has been just a few days since Queensland confirmed it will soon open its borders to people from greater Sydney and Victoria, and excited tourists have already booked a Noosa property charging $100,000 a week over the Christmas period.
Key points:
- Noosa was hard-hit by border closures, with Melbourne and Sydney travellers unable to visit
- Queensland’s borders to greater Sydney and Victoria are to open on December 1
- A $100,000-a-week property has had three bookings since the announcement
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk confirmed on Tuesday the borders would be open to all of New South Wales from December 1, then a day later said borders to Victoria would also open on that date.
