Man appears in Townsville court charged with 3yo girl’s death

A 29-year-old man has appeared in the Townsville Magistrates court following the death of a three-year-old girl.
Aaron Hill was arrested and charged with manslaughter on Friday night.
His co-accused and mother of the child, 37-year-old Laura Peverill, did not appear.
She is facing a manslaughter charge.
The couple was arrested in relation to the girl’s death on Friday.
Police allege the child was left in a car for a considerable amount of time.
Authorities say early investigations suggest the girl died from heat exposure.
Both matters have been adjourned until December 14.
