A mother and her boyfriend have been charged with manslaughter after a child was found dead in a hot car in Far North Queensland.
The couple took the three-year-old girl to Townsville University Hospital about 2.45pm after she was discovered inside the car in Burdell on Friday afternoon, Detective Senior Sergeant Miles said.
Preliminary investigations indicate the young child was left inside a locked vehicle for most of the day, police said.
