Incoming Essendon coach Ben Rutten has flagged a major philosophical shift for his side next year, wanting them to become a hard-nosed, “blue-collared” team.

Amid a difficult 2020 season, which saw the Bombers lose nine of their last ten matches and finish with the AFLs third-worst percentage, one major point of contention was the teams style of play.
