Caboolture boy suffers life-threatening injuries by car ‘doing a burnout’ while walking with his family

A five-year-old boy has suffered life-threatening injuries after being injured by a car allegedly performing a burnout at a set of traffic lights.
Police allege a blue Ford Falcon ute was stopped at a red light at the intersection of King Street and Morayfield Road in Caboolture, north of Brisbane, on Wednesday at 4.30pm.
As the lights turned green, the driver began to spin the vehicle’s tyres, police said.
