From December 5, it will be mandatory for West Australians to check-in at most public venues to improve WAs contact tracing capabilities in the event of a coronavirus outbreak.
Premier Mark McGowan announced the government QR code app on Wednesday, saying contact tracing would be required at restaurants, bars, nightclubs, places of worship, beauticians, cinemas, zoos, hotels, gyms, libraries and home inspections.
