NT police searching for missing man believed to have left Kings Canyon Resort on foot

Northern Territory police are overseeing a search of rugged, arid country surrounding a desert resort where a man is believed to have been missing for three days.
Key points:
- Timothy Rodwell, 41, is believed to have walked off into the outback on Sunday night
- Police began coordinating land and air searches of Watarrka National Park today
- There is no phone reception in the area and the temperature often reaches 40C
Kings Canyon Resort sits within Watarrka National Park, a tourist destination about 320 kilometres south-west of Alice Springs by road.
Police say Timothy Rodwell, 41, was last seen in the area about 7:00pm on Sunday.
It is believed he was involved in an argument with another person before leaving the resort on foot.
