Afterpay’s US reconciliation gap hard to explain – The Australian Financial Review
Afterpay’s flat US sales are just a seasonal blip according to the official narrative.
Research out of Citi this week suggests Klarna added 1 million customers in the US over the past three weeks, more than the 900,000 customers Afterpay added over the whole of the September quarter.
Afterpay says its US customer acquisition growth accelerated to more than 15,000 customers a day in October, but that still leaves it miles behind Klarna on the latest data.
