Urgent plea after ‘anemic and dehydrated’ dog Leo dumped at Queensland pound

A Queensland animal rescue is desperately trying to save the life of a dog who was dumped in a crate at a pound in a horrific state.
The dog, named Leo, has since been handed over to the Qld Staffy & Amstaff Rescue (QSAR), who are desperately trying to save his life.
He was dumped at the pound with extensive pus in his ear canal “so bad he needs to be put under anesthesia to clean it”, as well as hookworm, giardia and fleas.
The animal rescue said his urgent care was climbing into thousands…
