Sydney-based Angela Cox has been unable to visit her mum as she battles cancer on the Gold Coast. Now she finally can.
It was the border announcement much of Australia had been waiting months for – and it was enough to bring one Channel 7 star to tears.
Queensland Premier Anastacia Palaszczuk on Tuesday finally confirmed Queensland borders would reopen to NSW. It was music to the ears of Angela Cox.
The TV presenter, who has been unable to visit her gravely ill mum in the Sunshine State for months, couldnt hide her emotion in response to the news.
Good on you Palaszczuk, you finally did it, she said through tears.
