COVID wastewater analysis shows fragments of virus in Liverpool area, resulting in alert for 39 suburbs – 7NEWS.com.au
Tens of thousands of residents have been put on notice for COVID-19 symptoms despite more than a fortnight without a new case.

Thirty-nine suburbs in Sydneys West and Southwest are on alert for signs of coronavirus.
Ongoing wastewater surveillance on Tuesday uncovered traces of COVID-19 in the Liverpool treatment plant, NSW Health said.
Its resulted in a warning to as many as 180,000 residents across 39 suburbs to be on high alert for symptoms.
The health body conceded the fragments of the virus could be the result of shedding from existing cases.
However, it also fears there are other undetected active cases in the community.
