Angus Taylor calls for greater cohesion on energy plans as states go it alone – Sydney Morning Herald
Power industry chiefs are calling for a national energy framework, warning that state governments’ separate plans are distorting markets.
“We are at an inflection point at this industry,” she said. “We need to either reform the market and regulations to allow for efficient market responses or decide that we cant and that we need to go towards a more regulated and local market.
“What we cant afford to do any more is not make a decision and continue to whinge to each other about not making a decision.”
