Joint agency operation targets remote coastline threats.
Australia has a comprehensive maritime surveillance and response capability delivered through Maritime Border Command, a multi-agency taskforce within the Australian Border Force (ABF), which targets illegal maritime activity across our coastline.
A joint activity concluded last week under Operation Resolute which utilised assets from within the ABF, Royal Australian Air Force, and Australian Army (The Pilbara Regiment), with support from the Australian Department of Home Affairs, Australian Federal Police and Western Australia Police Force
