Former Labor MP handed top public service post
The only other change announced in the directors-general appointments on Friday was the replacement of retiring Department of Agriculture and Fisheries head Beth Woods with former Queensland police commissioner and Youth Justice Director-General Bob Gee.
Dave Stewart will continue to head up the Department of Premier and Cabinet, with Rachel Hunter to stay on as Under Treasurer. The announcements follow changes to Ms Palaszczuk’s third-term cabinet this month after her historic October election win.
