Space news: Asteroid 2020 VT4 just skimmed by Earth – 7NEWS.com.au
The record close call would have been visible from certain part of Australia.

It was close and it was a record.
An asteroid known as 2020 VT4 passed just under 400 kilometres over the Southern Pacific Ocean. According to NASA its the closest-known space rock to fly past Earth without slamming into us.
Hawaiis Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) clocked it on November 14th.
According to phys.org the space rock is about 10 metres across, which is about the size of a small house.
