Residents force council to backtrack on New Farm Park changes
The council’s proposal includes reopening the original Brunswick Street ring road entrance, north of the existing entry and exit, to become a one-way entry.
A drop-off zone for Ubers and taxis would be installed on the ring road, and pedestrian crossings would be raised over the road.

It also proposed to open up a service laneway between New Farm Park and the Powerhouse car park, adding lighting and a pedestrian path, and closing the Lamington Street entrance to the Powerhouse except on weekends between 6am and 6pm.
