Police have charged a 32-year-old Shailer Park man with attempted murder following the serious assault of a man in Logan on Saturday afternoon (November 14).
At 3.15pm, officers conducting a welfare check located an injured man at an address on Quinzeh Creek Road. The 53-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police will allege the man suffered significant injuries after being assaulted with a sharp instrument that caused a severe laceration to his throat, as well significant injuries to his chest, abdomen and head.
