Water Police and the Australian Border Force are working together to deter fishy behaviour at Victorian ports.
The multi-agency operation is looking above and below the water in the search for contraband and
Search and Rescue Squads used dive teams and state-of-the-art Remote Operated Vessel to search the hull of the 170m shipping vessel, while ABF officers and detector dogs searched on board the vessel for illicit drugs.
“Today’s operational activity is a great example of ABF and Victoria Police working together to disrupt criminal networks within Victoria.” – Tori Rosemond, Superintendent, Australian Border Force
