Sun’s out, guns out!
A man has been arrested as part of a joint-agency investigation into the alleged importation of illegal firearm parts and drug manufacturing equipment.
Following extensive investigations, the Australian Border Force, NSW Police Force officers from Western Region Enforcement Squad and United States Homeland Security Investigations, executed search warrants at a South Bathurst home earlier today. The operation was assisted by multiple law enforcement and emergency response agencies.
The 36-year-old man was served with Firearms and Weapons Prohibition Orders before being arrested and taken to Bathurst Police Station, where he is expected to be charged.
