Serious traffic crash, Sandstone Point
Police are appealing for witnesses following a two-vehicle, serious traffic crash which occurred on the Bribie Bridge this afternoon.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 12.20pm, a silver Mazda wagon with Queensland registration 075XAO was travelling eastbound when it has crossed onto the incorrect side of the road and collided head-on with a red Kia wagon.
The 74-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the Kia was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
The 46-year-old female driver and a 71-year-old male passenger of the Mazda were transported to hospital in a serious condition. A third male occupant of this vehicle left the scene before the arrival of emergency services and was last seen heading on foot towards…
