Japan’s Princess Mako has announced a second postponement of her wedding to her commoner fiance, for whom she will relinquish her royal title.
The niece of Emperor Naruhito became engaged to Kei Komuro in September 2017, with the couple planning the marry the following year.
They confirmed in February 2018 they were delaying the nuptials to at least 2020 due to “immaturity” and feeling the need to think about marriage “more deeply”.
