Case numbers in Cheshire are on the rise
This weekend comes just after Cheshire completes its first seven days in the second lockdown, which feels like it has taken an eternity to get to.
However, there was a moment when the week flew by with arrival of something of an oddity for 2020: Good news.
On Monday, Pfizer announced that a preliminary trial of its Covid-19 vaccine recorded a 90 per cent effectiveness rate in a cohort of 43,500 people.
That being said, there was also an inevitable return-to-Earth moment as case numbers rose again…
