42 for 42 is a non-profit organisation set up to raise funds for a memorial to be built outside Suncorp Stadium for the 41 Australian soldiers who lost their lives in Afghanistan and the 42nd standing for the
returning soldiers who we have lost and continue to lose to suicide.This year, our QAS paramedic Kate Palmer volunteered her time to provide support for the 42 for 42 walk over the last three days and she also dedicated an hour walk to honour her cousin whom she lost in Afghanistan.
