Townsville Mayor Jenny Hill ordered to face court over crash that killed a motorcyclist

Townsville Mayor Jenny Hill has been served a notice to appear in court over her car collision that killed a motorcyclist in January.

Late on Friday, police confirmed the notice had been issued following investigations into the fatal crash at Aitkenvale in Townsville on January 30.

She has been ordered to appear in Townsville Magistrates Court on October 30 for driving without due care and attention causing death.
