‘Train My Mate’ by Queensland woman Velvet Garvey teaches men how to do housework

Velvet Garvey doesn’t want men to be how she was.
After focusing her adult life on her career, the Noosa woman had a rude shock when her first child came.
“I hadn’t given housework much thought, to be honest,” Garvey told 7NEWS.
“I didn’t know how to do very simple things.
“I felt like that traditional man in my relationship.”
Garvey said she approached her lack of knowledge about housework “a lot like work” – she went online and did her research.
