At the latest Parabere Forum, universal concerns and challenges regarding the future of food were explored by female leaders in the food and hospitality industry.

If Ireland’s Darina Allen has her way, we’ll all be planting a seed a day, buying at least half our food directly from farmers and producers, and ensuring every child knows how to cook.

Famous for her books, TV shows, events and festivals as well as her Ballyamaloe restaurant, cookery school and farm in County Cork, Allen is only half-joking when she describes herself as “an ageing hippy on a mission”.
