Queensland man’s body found down an embankment after ‘altercation’ involving three other men near Gympie

A man’s body has been found at a property in Queensland’s Wide Bay area following an alleged stabbing incident involving two other men.

Police say the 43-year-old’s body was found about 10am on Monday down an embankment near Tin Can Bay Road, northeast of Gympie.

Investigators believe the man’s death is linked to an “altercation” that occurred between four men on John Street in Maryborough on Sunday evening.
