Food scented face masks may just be the strangest trend that the COVID-19 pandemic has produced. And that’s saying a lot, considering we’ve already been through a slew of viral food trends, including cloud bread, focaccia gardens, croissant and pancake cereal, Dalgona coffee and the whole “everything is cake” iso baking fiasco.
Several US based companies have taken to creating face masks as a unique way to promote their brands, but this week, several food brands have taken that one step further, creating face masks that contain the aroma of some of our favourite foods.
