Queenslander allegedly swindled THOUSANDS in fraudulent back-to-work grants

A Queensland man has allegedly tried to rip-off the state government’s back-to-work grant program for more than a million dollars.
The 45-year-old submitted and attempted to submit numerous fraudulent applications worth more than $1.2 million over a two-year period, police said on Thursday.
But he was allegedly only able to fraudulently gain $120,000.
Detectives raided the man’s Brisbane home on Wednesday.
