Queensland borders will open to NSW, except Greater Sydney, from November 3

Queensland will open its border to New South Wales from 1:00am on November 3, but it will remain closed to Greater Sydney and Victoria, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk says.
But Queensland could lose “hundreds of millions a month” without Sydney tourists, according to the state’s main tourism lobby group.
Queensland Tourism Industry Council CEO Daniel Gschwind called the decision “disappointing” and said tourism business from Sydney was normally worth $3 billion a year.
“So every month is important, that translates into hundreds of millions a month,” he said.
