Report and photos from Trekka 2 skipper Nat Turner… “Hey Bill. We’ve been busy lately. Had Sunday and Monday off due to the windy conditions but it’s calmed down considerably the last couple of days. We’ve
been catching some cracking fish up at Double Island Point on the longer trips including plenty of snapper, jewfish, some stonker Venus tusk fish, gold band snapper, Moses perch, amberjack and frypan snapper. In closer, Chardon’s Reef produced some nice pearl perch, Maori cod and Moses perch while Sunshine Reef has been good for a few Venus tusk fish and grass sweetlip. We haven’t encountered any current lately and the pelagics seem to have disappeared for now. Cheers, Nat.” www.fishingnoosa.com.au/fishingoffshorenoosa.htm
