Queensland swim coach Brendan John Terry jailed for sexually assaulting young girls

A woman who was sexually assaulted by a Brisbane swimming coach more than a decade ago says keeping the “depraved, vulgar human being” out of society will bring her comfort.
Brendan John Terry, 57, showed no expression as he was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in jail for one rape charge and 22 counts of indecent treatment of children.
He pleaded guilty to some charges and was found guilty of others during earlier proceedings.
