Queensland Police review incident at Brisbane’s Kangaroo Point refugee protest

Queensland Police are reviewing footage that appears to show a police officer striking a man from behind.

Several videos, including one seen above, were filmed at a refugee protest in Kangaroo Point on Sunday afternoon and shared widely online.

The footage appears to show a police officer hit an older man from behind, causing him to fall to the ground before several other demonstrators come to his aid.
