Fantastic to be recognised for this wonderful project, delivered under budget. We have received the IPWEA Queensland Excellence Award for a project under $1 million.
The Noosa Botanic Shade Garden Canopy was a jointly funded project between council and Seqwater, who provided a $200,000 donation.
It was a challenge to deliver such a large scale project surrounded by a well-established tree canopy, having an unconventional footprint and containing a precious light and humidity sensitive plant community.
Kudos to Noosa District Orchid & Foliage Society and Noosa Botanic Gardens – Friends for their assistance in making the project a reality.
