Accused killer in hospital after ‘altercation’ with fellow inmate

Accused murderer Zlatko Sikorsky remains in a critical condition after an “altercation” with another inmate at a Brisbane prison.
A Queensland Corrective Services spokesperson said a prisoner had suffered “suspected head injuries” at the Wolston Correction Centre on Tuesday afternoon.

“QCS can confirm a prisoner was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital,” they said in a statement. “The injuries are a result of an altercation with another prisoner.”
The Corrective Services Investigation Unit would be advised of the incident, the spokesperson added.
