Sex criminal who molested shoppers, attacked nurses locked up indefinitely

Six weeks into his probation order he struck again, attacking two nurses at the Ipswich Hospital.
Bewert told the women he was looking for someone to have sex with and tried to take off their clothes. He was sentenced to prison for three years.
In 2003, he was sentenced to another five years’ imprisonment after molesting a patient in the emergency department of the Ipswich Hospital.
Bewert was paroled in 2006 and attacked four women in early 2007.
He rubbed his hand on the breast of a woman crossing the Victoria Bridge, masturbated and ejaculated on a 17-year-old girl who was shopping at Coles and groped and exposed himself to two other shoppers in the supermarket.
The sex offender was sent back to prison.
