Road safety is something we all need to shine a light on and in this case, we’re asking you to ‘Leave Your Lights On’, even during daylight hours to increase visibility of vehicles, particularly on rural and
regional roads.Yesterday, Assistant Commissioner Tony Armstrong jointly launched this campaign along with the Queensland Police Service and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services – QFES in Toowoomba. Our services are the first responders to the most horrific road traffic crashes and we see the devastation these incidents cause patients, bystanders, emergency services, families, friends and loved ones every day. The ripple effect is huge.
The simple act of keeping your lights on when getting behind the wheel, day and night, could make the difference to the safety of you and your passengers and other road users.
