$32 billion for renewables
The NSW Government has released a $32-billion renewable energy plan ahead of next week’s state budget.
Energy Minister Matt Kean said the transition away from coal-fired power would begin with a series of grants worth $50 million for pumped hydro projects.
He said the plans would encourage investment from the private sector over the next decade.
