Reducing dementia in rheumatoid arthritis patients
The incidence of dementia in patients with rheumatoid arthritis is lower in patients receiving biological or targeted synthetic disease-modifying anti-inflammatory drugs (DMARDs) than in patients receiving conventional synthetic DMARDs, according to a new study. The study was presented at the American College of Rheumatologys annual virtual meeting.
