Coronavirus area by area breakdown as Cumbria cases rise by 214 in just 24 hours – Lancs Live
The latest figures for Carlisle, Allerdale, Copeland, South Lakeland, Barrow-in-Furness and Eden
There have been 214 new coronavirus cases in Cumbria in the past 24 hours, according to Public Health England.
It represents one of the biggest daily rises this month and brings the total number of confirmed cases in 7,913 since the start of the pandemic.
Carlisle, which is now the Covid-19 hotspot of Cumbria with the county’s highest infection rate, recorded 49 new positive tests.
People also contracted the virus in Allerdale, Copeland, South Lakeland, Barrow-in-Furness and Eden.
