“Significant decrease” in Covid-19 among young people – AlKhaleej Today

A member of the National Public Health Emergency Team (Nphet) said the number of young people contracting Covid-19 has decreased significantly. Professor Philip Nolan says there is evidence that levels of infection are gradually declining in people aged 65 and over as the number of hospitals and intensive care units has stabilized.
Prof. Nolan added that it was clear that people were respecting the level 5 restrictions, with younger people making special efforts to suppress the virus.
