Actor Eddie Hassell has died from a reported gunshot in Texas.
The Surface star, 30, was killed in what appears to be a carjacking, TMZ reports.

Hassell was known for his role as Phil Nance in The Surface. He also starred in Devious Maids, The Kids Are All Right, Family Weekend, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Oliver Beene,2012, Jobs and Till Death.
He also had several cameos in TV shows like Longmire, Bones, and Southland.
