Craig McLachlan gives evidence to deny indecent assault allegations – The Age
Four women have alleged Mr McLachlan indecently assaulted them during the Melbourne run of a 2014 stage show.
Dressed in a navy blue suit and checked tie, the 55-year-old gave evidence remotely from a table in a Sydney office as his barrister, Stuart Littlemore, QC, asked him questions. Partner Vanessa Scammell sat in the same room, while magistrate Belinda Wallington watched the link from a Melbourne court.
Mr McLachlan twice became emotional when asked about the woman who alleged he touched near her genital area during a live performance while she could be seen by the audience but he was hidden.
