The first charter flight of farm workers from the Pacific Islands has arrived in Queensland under the restarted Seasonal Worker Program.

- The Queensland Department of Agriculture has identified a shortfall of 7,000 workers between now and Christmas
- The Government is trialling four charter flights of seasonal workers from the Pacific Islands
