Sydney woman creates Melbourne cup fascinator from Kmart place mat – 9Honey
A Sydney woman has taken the humble Melbourne Cup fascinator to all new levels, thanks to a Kmart place mat.
Louise Palmer, 42, is surely a contender for the ‘best dressed’ crown with her creative take on the staple race day item.
“Our office said we were doing Melbourne Cup this year, and I didn’t think it would be happening,” Palmer tells 9Honey.
“But every year I spend a fortune getting ready for it, so I wanted to do something different.”
