British scientists want to add vitamin D to foods to fight…
British scientists are advocating adding vitamin D to foods such as bread or milk to combat the deficiency of these compounds in the UK population. It is an old proposal (according to The Guardian, it has been debated for the past 10 years), but it now comes up with a new argument: according to the researchers who defend this measure, it can help fight Covid-19. But there is no robust scientific evidence to support it.
