Rise in self harm poisonings at schools a concern, experts say – WAtoday
For the first time, research has uncovered the extent of poisonings at schools in Australia.
Dr Rose Cairns, senior poisons specialist at NSW Poisons Information Centre and Lecturer in Pharmacy at The University of Sydney, said much has been written about an increase of self harm among young people, and it was unfortunate to see it was happening on school grounds.
