Emergency services are responding to reports of a person hit by a car out front of the bus station. Delays expected, Please avoid the area

Queensland police:
Police are investigating a serious traffic crash in Maroochydore last night.
Preliminary inquiries indicate around 7.05pm a 38-year-old man stepped out onto Horton Parade between two parked buses when he was struck by a black utility travelling south.
The man sustained serious injuries and was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, before being airlifted to Brisbane.
The two occupants of the utility were not physically injured in the incident.
Anyone who may have dashcam vision is urged to come forward.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations continue.
